In February 1993 we incarnated our launch at the National Crafts Festival, organized in the city of Colón, Entre Ríos, Argentina. Since then, the spirit of the initial project has guided us in each endeavor, always focused on installing the folk arts and krafts of America in a hierarchy and always committed to promoting the collection of arts, letters and crafts.
In these first twenty-seven years we have published books, magazines, catalogs and brochures; we organize and curate exhibitions, auctions, round tables and conferences; we conduct seminars; we participate in national and international exhibitions and open a friendly space for collecting in the city of Buenos Aires.
The new place allows us to collect, study and value objects as varied as first editions of old, rare and curious books; maps; photographs; paintings, drawings and sculptures; all the manifestations of folk art and every artifact that catches us for what it suggests, for the stories it tells, for the soul it possesses.
Periodically we edit catalogs and an electronic communication (Newsleter) that we call "Piece of the Week", where we carefully analyze each of these works in their history, their cultural context, their plastic richness and production techniques. If you enjoy it, leave us your information to send you the next deliveries.
