The set includes a selection of works by artists born between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Exhibition held in September 1930 at the headquarters of the Friends of Art on Florida Street 659 in Buenos Aires, with Benito Mussolini chairing the Honor Committee and Margherita Sarfatti being curator. The Friends of Art initiative -an institution created in 1924  had the support of the residents of the community and the diplomatic authorities. The exhibition was a commercial success; 28 works were sold and three of them remained in museums in Argentina and Uruguay. (1)
