It presents six shots in the form of chains with chain links, which end in important cast, openwork and chiselled silver buttons with a phytomorphic design, enriched with a smooth gold center.

The oldest records of José Fernández's silverwork appear in the Kraft Guide of 1896, with his workshop located at 330 or 342 Buen Orden Street in Buenos Aires. In the previous five years he had formed the partnership with Manuel Casal that we know through the pieces identified with the “Fernandez y Casal” brand. Already separated, each one continued with its activity independently, and J. Fernández appears in advertisements at least until the mid-1920s, installed at that time at 347/380 Bernardo de Irigoyen Street, after the change of nomenclature ordered in 1907, always in the same location.
