Gelatin silver print -20.7 x 24.8 cm. / 8.14 x 9.76 in.-, on single glossy weight paper, with white margin. On the back, the photographer's wet stamp: “Photographs by Guillermo Zamora. Mexico". Good condition, it is presented framed.


Photograph of the Saltillo University Hospital, under construction, built by the architect Mario Pani in 1943. Pani was also the great urban planner in Mexico City. Faithful follower of the ideas of Le Corbusier, responsible for several complexes, among them, the main campus of the Autonomous University of Mexico, and the Nonoalco-Tlatelolco Housing Unit.


Zamora (1913 - 2002) is recognized as the best Mexican photographer of modern architecture and his works are highly sought after, especially those captured in the first half of the 20th century. He began in the field of photography in 1935. He also documented the work of the most outstanding Mexican plastic artists. SEH-IX-OBM
