It is one of the most interesting elements of Quito's colonial architecture. The difficult photographic record shows us all its majesty.

Since its creation in 1978, the National Institute of Cultural Heritage has been concerned with the preservation of the great architectural works of that Andean nation. It is made up of a team of photographers trained to record restoration tasks and the quality of the works in custody.
