Copy rebound in full cloth, with gilt titles on the spine. Work in general in good condition. First edition.

Its author, Dr. Ángel M. Gordillo, at that time a member of the Tucumán Court of Justice, brings to light a laudatory work on the actions of the Jesuits, calling them “great men”. At that time, opinions about this religious Order were still divided in the country; Barely a year later, the newspaper El Nacional questioned its historical evolution, even stating: “The Jesuit Order is a cursed order, a cursed caste…”
