Craft knife. Willy González. Maldonado, Uruguay. Circa 1990.

Recreation of the typical design of Rodgers knives, of English origin, by a Uruguayan master craftsman. Enhanced with polished Axis deer antler scales and smooth steel pommel. He wears his hawk or defense in polished steel, in the same material as the blade. Sole pod. Measures. Blade length: 19.8 cm / 7.78 in. Total length of the knife, drawn: 32 cm / 12.59 in.


Blade forged in 1085 steel, with the artisan's mark: WILLY, the figure of a whale, and its origin, R.O.U. It presents its clip-like tip, with curved edge and counter edge.


The piece was specially commissioned. It is preserved in very good condition.
